Imagine yourself in the 19th century aboard the Clipper Stad Amsterdam. Surrounded by teak wood and brass, every last detail making you feel as though you’ve traveled back in time, without compromising on modern-day comforts….
The Clipper is 76 metres in length and features 31 sails with a total area of 2200 square meters. The ship has an authentic transverse rig, a sharp clipper bow and sails as a passenger ship under the Dutch flag.
The ship has 14 cabins, a spacious dining room (the longroom) for dinners and presentations and an outdoor bar with additional space to host a reception or dinner.
The Clipper Stad Amsterdam can be booked privately for luxury cruises and corporate events. You can also stay on board as a guest for luxury cruises or an adventure sailing trip.
BOOK NOWOn the upper deck, you imagine yourself on a historic clipper from the nineteenth century. The beautiful chart house, the three huge masts, the lines on deck, the beautifully maintained teak woodwork. At the same time, the passenger sailing ship Stad Amsterdam also offers the luxuries of the 21st century.
While the crew keeps the ship on course, our hospitality team serves up delicious drinks and snacks from the bar on deck, prepared by our chef.
The Clipper’s upper deck extends across the full top deck, from bow to stern. The upper deck consists of the aft deck, main deck and forecastle deck.
A stylish mahogany staircase leads you from the deck to the longroom, the heart of the ship. Here, too, you can see the beautiful woodwork and brass trim. This is where our guests gather to chat, meet the crew, play a game, enjoy a drink or a meal.
Want to sit back quietly, send an e-mail or read a book? You can do so undisturbed in the longroom! This room is also the location for business meetings. Anything is possible with the latest technology and audiovisual equipment at your disposal. The longroom is also equipped with a luxury bar and a small library. There is room for 55 guests for lunch or dinner.
The 14 guest cabins are located on the middle deck and all have portholes. Each cabin has a telephone (with satellite connection) and air conditioning. They are furnished for two people as standard, but can easily be adapted for stays with three or four people.
Also, all cabins are equipped with a private bathroom with sink, shower and toilet. The finish with lots of wood and copper work gives the cabins a classic look. All cabins are similar in layout and have an area of about 11 m².
