There is some fantastic news to share! We are pleased to announce that we have succeeded in offering an exclusive luxury sailing cruise in March 2026 aboard our beautiful three-masted sailing ship. This is an unique opportunity to experience an unforgettable holiday this winter, where tropical sun, excellent gastronomy, and fantastic sailing play the absolute main role.
Step aboard the Clipper Stad Amsterdam on March 7th in Marigot, where the Captain and his crew will warmly welcome you. Following a delightful welcome dinner on board, we will set sail for an overnight voyage to the breathtaking British Virgin Islands and St. Barths.
BOOK NOWOn the first day, the Captain and his crew will welcome you aboard the Clipper in Marigot, on the French side of the island of Sint Maarten. After a warm welcome and a few relaxing hours on board, we will set sail after dinner and leave Saint Martin to head towards Jost van Dyke in the the British Virgin Islands (BVI).
The highlight of the second day of this cruise is this stunning island, which you’ll have the opportunity to visit after lunch. On the third day, we will sail from Jost van Dyke to the pristine Norman Island. On day four, we will head towards Cooper Island, where you can enjoy the stunning surroundings.
Day five we sail from Cooper Island to Savannah Beach on Virgin Gorda, an ideal spot for relaxation. On day six we will take a day trip from Savannah Beach to Gorda Sound, a picturesque bay surrounded by exclusive islands.
Exploring Virgin Gorda with an island tour, followed by a late departure for Saint Barthélemy (St. Barths), is planned for day seven of this cruise.
On day eight, we sail through the Caribbean waters, arriving in the evening at Gustavia, Saint Barthélemy. On day nine, we depart from Gustavia in the afternoon for a beautiful nearby bay to enjoy one last time a lovely Caribbean sunset in a magnificent, tranquil setting. On day ten and the last day of this cruise, we return to Marigot, Saint Martin, marking the end of this wonderful luxury Caribbean cruise.
Sail with us to the most beautiful islands and enjoy pristine bays, swimming, relaxing, and delightful dining.

The itinerary can be adjusted if the situation demands it.
During the sailing trip on the Caribbean Sea that takes us to all above mentioned destinations, you will learn as many aspects as possible of sailing on a square-rigged ship. We expect a good amount of wind on our journey, with the result that the chance of sailing longer distances is favorable. We recommend that you help the crew to experience the real experience of a holiday on board a sailing ship. You can of course also choose to relax.
Towards the evening we usually look for a pristine bay to anchor. Take a dip in the sea water, go snorkeling or enjoy a cocktail while our chef prepares a barbecue on a pearly white beach. A journey where luxury, discovery and adventure are central.

Always inquire about the rules for the validity period of your passport for the country you are traveling to. In many countries, a passport is required to be valid for several months beyond the date of entry/departure.
VISUM
It is crucial and your own responsibility to check and arrange visa requirements for the countries you are traveling to and traveling from.
The best way to determine if you need a visa to enter a specific country is by contacting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Our ship is equipped with satellite technology to provide Wi-Fi connectivity during your journey. The shipping company offers 200 MB of data per person per day for sending and receiving data. Please note that the connection may be slower compared to onshore services.
If you require additional data, you can purchase an extra 200 MB package for €20.
Keep in mind that depending on the ship’s course, there may be times when the satellite signal is unavailable, and therefore, internet connectivity cannot be guaranteed.
Friends and family at home can always track the live location of the ship through our website (homepage).
SHIP’S DOCTOR
When booking your trip, we request you to fill out a health declaration. If you provide any specific details here, the ship’s doctor may contact you to discuss your situation. Based on observations or strong suspicions of a very limited physical condition and associated risks, the ship’s doctor may advise the captain to exclude you as a passenger from the voyage. The final decision rests with the captain. The ship is equipped with a small infirmary. Upon boarding, our ship’s doctor may ask you again to provide him with as much information as possible about your medication use and/or physical limitations, so that he can take this into account.
Age Limit
As our ship stays at anchor in bays during this luxury cruise and does not moor at quays, we use a tender (dinghy) for all transfers to shore. Boarding and disembarking the tender requires a high degree of physical agility and stability due to the frequently occurring swell at the location. The maximum age for participation in the luxury cruise is therefore 74 years at the time of embarkation.
Doctor onboard
The shipping company aims to have a doctor on board for multi-day sailing voyages. The ship’s doctor is your first point of contact on board for medical inquiries and other matters.
SAFETY
During the welcome speech, the captain and the designated crew at their muster stations will brief you on safety aboard. Please be aware that the ship is in motion, which can cause items to fall, shift, and doors to close. It is advisable to secure your belongings, keep doors closed, and never hold onto a door frame.
Some countries require proof of vaccination for travellers wishing to enter or exit the country.
Travel requirements are updated often, so we recommend always checking the latest entry requirements before your trip.
We would like to remind you that you should always stay informed about and adhere to the travel
advisories applicable to travel to and from the ship. These travels are your own responsibility.
It is recommended that you arrive at the port of embarkation one day prior to the scheduled embarkation. This precaution is advised because the ship cannot delay its departure in the event of travel disruptions. In addition, traveling to our next port of call may not be feasible due to long trips at sea or remote islands.
Unfortunately, due to our mooring location in Marigot (French side of the island), early luggage drop-off before departure is not possible.
Please keep in mind that unfavorable weather conditions (e.g., lack or excess wind) may cause the captain to decide to sail on engine power, enter or exit a port earlier/later.
This voyage is a luxury cruise, and we are committed to providing our guests with the highest level of service. Please note that while we strive to offer exceptional service, the weather may occasionally impact certain aspects of the sailing experience.

SIGN ME UPAs we anchor in bays, you will be brought ashore by tender (dinghy) for every island visit. Due to the swell at the location, boarding and disembarking requires physical agility and stability. This necessitates us setting an age limit. The maximum age at embarkation is 74 years.
