Recently the Clipper sailed in the Caribbean, calling at islands such as St. Martin and Cuba to finally arrive in the United States. On April 26th in Miami, the Consulate General of the Kingdom organized a festive program on board the Stad Amsterdam with the screening of the documentary 'The Clipper City Amsterdam'; Connecting continents' as highlight. That which connects the Kingdom is the trade over sea by ship.

The documentary 'The Clipper City Amsterdam'; Connecting continents' is about the historical and economic relations between The Netherlands, the Kingdom, the United States and Cuba. What do these countries share? A history of over 400 years: Amsterdam & New York, The Netherlands and its former colonies, a renewed relationship with Cuba, for example in the field of education.
