Hard work in between two cruises and an afternoon off at Curacao

The Clipper Stad Amsterdam is already on her way to Panama at the moment.

We are about to arrive at Curaçao and the ship is starting to look neat and tidy again. The crew is working very hard to prepare for the next cruise as much as possible. Everyone knows that when all the work is done, an afternoon off at Curacao will be the reward.

Thus, while we are sailing  the scrubbing is done, the cabins cleaned and the woodwork oiled. A fire drill organized and a man overboard exercise is on our list of things to do as well. After our "victim" (a cardboard box with a floating anchor) is on board again safe and sound the bosun eagerly wants to continue working together with the other crew members. But I interfere with his valuable working hours by sailing instead of motoring and therefore the lights on deck have to be switched on at night to get all sanding tasks done. On our way to Panama soon!
