COVID-19 and the Clipper Stad Amsterdam

At this moment we find ourselves in an unusual and very special situation having to deal with drastic measures taken by the Dutch government and by governments all over the world to stop or minimize the spreading of the coronavirus (COVID-19). This is affecting all of us including the shipping company Clipper Stad Amsterdam.

We hereby like to inform you that the safety of our crew and guests is of the highest priority and that we follow up closely all of the developments and the measures taken by the Dutch government with regards to the coronavirus.

The Clipper is in the Netherlands right now for an extensive maintenance period and we currently still expect to leave the shipyard mid-May to resume our sailing schedule.

The precautions we have taken to prevent the spread of the virus include a special health and safety protocol activated on board and our office staff is working from home. You can reach us by using the telephone numbers and email addresses that are known to you.

Currently, there are still many uncertainties and we have to wait and see what the future will bring. We will inform you as soon as possible of any important changes which may occur in the coming weeks or months. Good health and safety for everyone is our main concern in the exceptional situation in which we find ourselves. We hope to be able to welcome you on board the Clipper Stad Amsterdam again soon for one of our sailing trips or events.
