COVID-19
The Clipper Stad Amsterdam as an international passenger ship is bound by the measures prescribed by the Dutch government and the measures that still apply worldwide onboard international passenger ships.

We offer you a 100% refund guarantee concerning the travel sum paid to us if it would not be possible to carry out the trip or if other unforeseen COVID-19-related situations of force majeure occur, which force us to cancel the trip.

Vaccination proof and a negative antigen test result + certificate.
All guests are obliged to be fully vaccinated including the booster vaccination to be able to participate in this trip. The booster should be at least 2 weeks old.
To gain access to the ship, all guests are also obliged to show a negative result of an antigen test with a certificate. The moment the test was taken should be no more than 24 hours before boarding.
Be advised that when you send the booking form which you find below, it will imply that you agree to show a valid vaccination certificate and a certificate of a valid negative antigen test* (24 hours) at embarkation. You are aware that without a valid vaccination certificate and a valid negative antigen test result in a certificate, you will not be able to participate in the trip. 
*The cost for the test is for your account.

Travel insurance
Taking out travel insurance is mandatory at all times on all our sailing trips. The mandatory travel insurance to be taken out by you must, in addition to, covering for medical costs, accidents, and repatriation (article 13.9 of the general terms and conditions) also cover all COVID-19 related medical costs. When you take out your travel insurance please make sure that these costs are indeed covered.
It is recommended to take out trip cancellation insurance.

We hereby like to inform you that the safety of our guests and our crew is of the highest priority and that we follow up closely with all of the developments and the measures taken by the Dutch government concerning the coronavirus. In the context of the prevention of contamination with the COVID-19 (corona) virus, the Clipper Stad Amsterdam as an international passenger ship is bound by the measures prescribed by the Dutch government and the measures that apply worldwide onboard international passenger ships.

To create a safe and responsible environment onboard, joining the Clipper is only possible for guests who meet the following requirements:
COVID vaccination
All guests are obliged to be fully vaccinated including the booster vaccination. The booster should be at least 2 weeks old. EU citizens will be asked to show their EU vaccination certificate with a QR code. We advise European guests to also print their QR codes and bring this on paper. Non-European guests are allowed to show their official paper proof of vaccination upon boarding. 

Antigen test with certificate
All guests are obliged to show a negative result of an antigen test with a certificate. The moment the test was taken should be no more than 24 hours before boarding.

The NAAT/PCR test is no longer required for this trip.

Travel insurance
Taking out travel insurance is mandatory at all times on all our sailing trips. The mandatory travel insurance to be taken out by you must, in addition to, covering medical costs, accidents, and repatriation (article 13.9 of the general terms and conditions) also cover all COVID-19 related medical costs. When you take out your travel insurance please make sure that these costs are indeed covered.

Cancellation
In unforeseen COVID-19-related situations involving force majeure, we offer a 100% refund guarantee concerning the travel sum paid to us. For all other - non-COVID - reasons to cancel, our usual terms and conditions apply. 

Flight suggestions:
Please be advised that you must at all times be aware of and act by the travel advice and the corona measures that apply when you are travelling to and from the ship. Travelling to the ship and/or home is your responsibility.
There are many direct flight opportunities from major (European) airports to Ibiza for attractive prices. 
Also from Brest, there are several flight opportunities to various (European) airports. For around  €343,-, you may fly from Brest to Amsterdam in 5+ hours with a stopover. Travelling by rail from Brest to Amsterdam, for example, takes 8.5 hours with two changes and costs about €120.00.
