The Clipper in home port Amsterdam

The Clipper will be moored alongside the national maritime museum in Amsterdam from mid-May until September 1st at the exact same location where the construction of the ship was completed in the year 2000. The captain and his crew love to welcome you there. When visiting the museum* on Saturdays and Sundays it is possible to have a look onboard.

The Clipper is currently sailing on the North Sea for a number of technical sea trials and a 10-day sail training voyage for the crew. On May 16th she will be back at the national maritime museum. The captain and the crew look forward to seeing you there!

Hopefully soon you will be visiting beautiful cities & remote Caribbean islands with us again or cross the Atlantic Ocean and learn everything you want to know about sailing on a square-rigged three-masted ship. From the moment you step on board the Clipper Stad Amsterdam, you’ll feel as if you’ve gone back in time. Her beautiful chart house, original rigging, and superbly maintained teak woodwork all echo the romance of the 19th century. At the same time, tall ship Clipper Stad Amsterdam offers every form of 21st-century comfort and luxury, and our professional hospitality staff will serve you in grand style.

* Whether visiting the Clipper is possible from May 22nd to September 1st will depend on the regulations taking by the Dutch government regarding the coronavirus.
