Daytrip Lisbon

Yesterday morning we arrived in Lisbon. Our pilot was immediately impressed by our Clipper. For him the Clipper Stad Amsterdam was the most beautiful vessel he ever worked on as a pilot. Luckily he was doing this work for years already and I assume he did sail on a lot of other ships. Once we were alongside we had to make the ship ready for the evening reception. Almost all guests that were expected showed up.
Today we are underway for a daytrip. Still it is is very nice wheatrher, but this time we can sail down wind. We pass the town and the bridge while sailing down the Rio Tejo to the sea. Just in front of the beaches of Cascais we turn in order to moored at the right time. Above all we received a gift. A stunt plane made looping close to our ship. What a perfect day.
