ECG
Tomorrow is another film day on deck, and undersigned has to perform also for the camera. Just as two days ago, when we did a maneuver with the ship, we were filmed. And as it seems that the commands of the captain prove to be entertaining enough, I must wear a microphone. Such a microphone is camouflaged under the shirt and is connected to a device which fit in your pocket. My words are sent, via the ether, to the soundman which edits the recordings in the film.
Head mechanic Bert watched from a distance how the microphone was attached to my chest and connected with the device in my pocket.
His comment in genuine ‘Gronings’ dialect: “Gosh, is a sail maneuver for a captain so intense that he needs cardiac monitoring?”
