Bart, our cook was interviewed the other day but appeared to be even more successful today. With a camera team in his wake he was looking for some wanted ingredients in a supermarket. Dressed if he was working in our galley Bart attracted all attention of others who were gathering their daily needs that time. Overwhelmed of enthusiasm Bart returned on deck and our remark this might have been the start of a career as a television cook his smile became even wider.
Small repairs and cleaning kept the deck crew busy all day. Tomorrow is an important day to us because under all attention of English and Dutch media the official “voyage of the Beagle” will start.
