Scheveningen

The journey from Flushing to Scheveningen is a quiet one, after arrival around eight in the morning there still is some time left to clean for the coming daytrip. As the harbour of Scheveningen is experiencing some troubles with the fresh water distribution system that needs thorough cleaning we will have to be very careful with our own limited supply. With a broom and some brushes we manage to make the deck look very acceptable and after the crew has refreshed themselves with the smallest amount of water and a ‘dry’ shave the Stad Amsterdam is just about ready for the arriving guests.
