Message from the Captain
After our beautiful voyage around the World, filled with adventures and experiences, the Clipper Stad Amsterdam will be closer to her homeport the next coming months. In June and July she will be in the Mediterranean. Then in August, the absolute highlight of this year: Sail Amsterdam and our 10-year Anniversary! After this huge event you will find her on the North Sea for a few weeks, to sail to warmer areas in the fall.
The Canary Islands will be explored, guided by a biologist this year. He will take us by the hand and guide us on the most impressive hikes on the islands La Palma, La Gomera and Tenerife. Next we will cross the Atlantic ocean to arrive on Saint Martin just before Christmas. During our ‘winter’ we will cruise between the Caribbean islands.

Not only the Clipper Stad Amsterdam is celebrating her 10-year Anniversary. I am very much looking forward to sailing to the Caribbean again after ten years. A lot will have changed since my last visit, but the clear blue water, the pearly white beaches and the warm Caribbean wind make every visit unforgettable. I am looking forward to meeting you all and enjoy this beautiful sailing area together!
