Greenhands DECK CREW and SERVICE CREW

On Clipper Stad Amsterdam there are openings for greenhands. You are done with your school, studies or job and you are thinking about a job on big sailing vessels or on the service part of it. You do not have much experience on square riggers, or some experience in service, but you want to start learning on a fullrigged vessel that sails worldwide. From Januari 2011 we have some openings for greenhands.

A greenhand signs on for 4 months. After that period we judge, together with you, if you can be promoted to Ordinary Sailor or Junior Service Employee. If we both want to proceed and there is a vacancy, the intention is that you join us as ordinary sailor or junior service employee for a year on a:  "2 on, 1 off" system.
